I think Carbonmade is really good as an online portfolio. I'm too lazy to make my own website at the moment, so I think this will do.

Birthday.

I turned 20 yesterday on April 16th T-T;
I feel older, wiser...but definitely feeling older. haha
I did get my new lens (50mm) in the mail the same day though! happy news!

First 08 Journal Entry! HAHA

Well, this is soo late but I hope everyone had a good holiday and new year!

I know people either make resolutions or make resolutions to break for the new year :XD: I don't have any resolutions this year. I hate the idea of making one when I know I'll slack off eventually, but to those who did make one this year, best of luck to you all!

I have some new photos up of :iconst-ained:'s photoshoot. She had a photography assignment over the holiday and of course, we were all more than glad to help her. She's been MIA from dA for a while, but I hope she'll return!

As for me, I've been busy spending time with friends over the holidays. I've been taking time for myself as well! I've been so busy over the first semester of college, I forgot to set aside time for myself to just well...do nothing. haha! Unfortunately, it seems full blown insomnia ensued because of it :faint: (which is really staying up at outrageous times of the night, chatting with friends and being a dA addict.) I can't seem to fall asleep anywhere near before 8am or wake up before 4-5pm. Unhealthy, I knowww D: I'm trying to get back on track before I have to go back for spring semester (on the 25th).

I have to say living on my own isn't all what I thought it would be. Sadly, I'm still jobless and living off on the money my parents send me. Both my parents moved to Vegas last month and I've been taking care of our house apartment here. My mother seemed excited about our new house in Vegas though ahah. She picked out all my furniture for my room 0_o; I was supposed to go there this month, but I doubt that now....a bit late since the house isn't even ready to be handed over till the 9th. Spring break though! I get to bring a friend (or two) with me. :D

That's about it for me! I did well for the first semester of college and pretty damn proud of it. Random: I might be getting my lip pierced soon! :dance:

35mm camera help

:D hey everyone!
I'm planning to take an intro to photography at my college next fall and the class wants us to use a 35mm camera. I'm already using a canon DSLR so I guess it would make sense if I get a canon 35mm as well (so I can use my current lens as well >< ). I just dont know which one to get. I have my eye on the Canon EOS-300 since its within my budget range @_@ under $200 if possible haha. I have to start saving for it now.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

First, I'd like to thank :icongrayglow: for featuring me :heart:

Also I made it on "Best of August" at :iconshutter-vision: !!! (I took screen-caps as well XD I was so surprised) YES, I know it is a bit late haha! I haven't been around dA for a while because of college. Now, I have to catch up on my messages ^^; I really do appreciate the feedback and the comments, everyone :hug:

Hmm...college, for the most part, is actually enjoyable (Being a freshman and all haha). I joined an art magazine/club thing and signed up for an editorial position :w00t: They also allow you to submit anonymously so I might try submitting some photos :giggle:
